1. About ElimuApp
ElimuApp is an online education platform providing curriculum-aligned notes, past papers, worksheets, assessments, videos, and related learning resources for learners, teachers, schools, and parents. The service is operated by Online Tutors LTD.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
You accept these Terms when you register, access an account, or use any part of the platform. If you are under the age of majority in your location, a parent, guardian, school, or other responsible adult should review these Terms and supervise your use of the service. You must provide accurate information and may not create an account for someone else without permission.
3. Accounts and security
Registration requires your first name, last name, email address, phone number, institution, and a password. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You may update eligible profile information through the account features and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You may use ElimuApp only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:
- share, resell, reproduce, or publicly redistribute paid resources;
- circumvent subscription, access, preview, or download controls;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, overload, or test the platform;
- upload malicious code or interfere with another user’s account;
- submit information that is fraudulent, unlawful, or belongs to another person; or
- use the platform in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
5. Educational content
Resources are provided for learning and revision. We aim to keep content useful and curriculum-aligned, but we do not guarantee that every resource is complete, error-free, current, or suitable for a particular learner, examination, school, or outcome. ElimuApp does not replace a teacher’s, school’s, parent’s, or guardian’s judgment.
6. Subscriptions and payments
The platform may offer Free, Basic, Professional, and Premium access. Prices and plan periods are shown at checkout and may be changed before a new purchase. Paid plan access is activated only after payment is confirmed. The payment flow may use Safaricom M-Pesa Daraja STK Push and requires an eligible Kenyan phone number. M-Pesa payment credentials and PINs are entered with Safaricom; do not send your PIN to ElimuApp.
A completed purchase may be recorded with its amount, phone number, plan, checkout reference, receipt number, status, and dates. Unless a refund policy is separately published or required by applicable law, completed digital subscription payments are non-refundable. Contact examvista16@gmail.com promptly about a duplicate, failed, or incorrectly processed charge so it can be reviewed.
7. Intellectual property
ElimuApp and its licensors retain rights in the platform, branding, software, design, and learning resources unless a resource states otherwise. Subject to these Terms and your active plan, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the resources for educational use. This does not transfer ownership or permit commercial redistribution.
8. Third-party services and links
The platform may depend on third parties, including Safaricom for M-Pesa payments, Drift for customer messaging, Google Fonts for typography, hosting providers, and email providers configured by the operator. Their services may have separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for an interruption or policy of a third party outside our control.
9. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, resources, plans, or parts of the platform. We will try to keep the service available, but online services can be affected by maintenance, connectivity, hosting, payment, or other events beyond our control. We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, create risk for other users, or where required for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the service and delete your account through the available account process. Termination does not remove obligations that by their nature should continue, including payment, intellectual property, acceptable-use, and limitation provisions.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform and its content are provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted access or a particular educational result. ElimuApp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of opportunity arising from use of the service, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Kenya, unless applicable law requires otherwise. The applicable dispute forum should be confirmed by the business owner before these Terms are treated as final:
